Leaves In My Yard

Do you ever walk outside and see the leaves on the ground. Sometimes I wonder where they came from. After yesterday's storms passed through we have tons of leaves in our yard but the leaves are not from trees that are around our yard or even on our street. I look at the leaves and wonder how far they are from their tree, how long it took them to get there and how long they are going to stay. Then it makes me think of people. When I meet new people or just see random people throughout my day. I wonder where they from, how far they are from home, did they make it there from their own decision or the choice of someone else? How long will our paths stay crossed? I just wonder what their "story" is. Because everyone has a story. They are all different like the different types of leaves. Take time to look around, who has God allowed in your life that you are supposed to pour God's love into them, through you? Because just like a single leaf, one gust of wind and they are gone....🍂🍁🍃

Our New Addition

We have a new addition to our family! Her name is Angel and she is a 8 week old Maltizue puppy. We have waited along time to get the right pup for our family and she is the one!

When we got her she was so tiny, weighing only 1 1/2 lbs. She is a little sweet blessing to our family!

It's potty time!

Mary has been potty training for about two weeks and has done a great job. She was much easier than Matthew to introduce to the potty. I don't know if that is just a girl/boy difference but I do know it is a blessing.

We began by using a little training potty. In which she wanted to use the BIG potty. So I purchased a small Minnie Mouse training potty seat for the big potty. It did not fit the regular seat correctly and was wobbly so she became unsure of using the big potty.

I had remembered seeing a toilet seat with both a training seat and regular seat made together and knew that is what I wanted. I sent Shane on a hunt for it and he delivered!

I have never been so excited about a toilet seat!!! We installed it in less than 4 minutes, it was super easy.

I am ready to say "Goodbye diapers!"
