Had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday. Got to hear Shane preach both services, Matthew and the rest of the Preschool sang a cute song for the Mom's and did a great job. 2, 3 and 4 yr olds are so much fun to watch in front of a crowd, you never know what they are going to do. lol!
Matthew hugging his daddy before they started singing.
(he was getting tired and whinny by this time) but they did a great job.
And of coarse the preacher's kid is covering his ears during the opening songs.
A sweet smile for mommy.
Roxanne and I had a great Sunday School class with the sweet 1st graders.
During 2nd service Matthew stayed in "Big Church" with me to hear his daddy preach and did a great job at being a quite big boy. I think he is ready to be a big brother. During the service Matthew kissed my tummy and told "Sweetheart" (that is what Matthew calls the baby) to listen to daddy talk. It was so sweet.
After church we went to the Original Oyster House in Gulf Shores for a delicious meal with the precious Flowers/Tibbs family. Then home for a 2 hour nap. When we woke up we decided to go to the beach for a few hours of sunshine and to watch the sunset. The beach was not crowded so it was perfect!
Once the sun set we headed to Cold Stone Creamery. I had received a gift card from Matthew and Shane for Mother's Day (Gift card for ice cream for a pregnant lady = wonderful).
It was a wonderful day the Lord had made! I am truly blessed by my Lord and my family!
